With the arrival of the summer season, domestic theme parks in China are experiencing a significant surge in ticket sales as the heat continues to rise. Demand from families for theme parks remains strong.

Leveraging its popular IP, Shanghai Disneyland has introduced a summer ticket price adjustment plan. Peak-day tickets for the entire month of July have reached 719 yuan, making it a trending topic on social media.

According to statistics, since its opening in 2016, Shanghai Disneyland has adjusted ticket prices five times. Compared to the initial pricing, the highest ticket price has increased by a net amount of 300 yuan.

Facing competition from Shanghai Disneyland and other rivals raising ticket prices, major theme parks in Guangdong province are launching upgraded attractions or new summer activities during the peak season. They are adopting diverse strategies to maintain competitiveness and attract visitors, which has also earned them positive feedback.

The Guangzhou Nanhu Amusement Park under renovation is set to reopen on New Year's Day next year. As the first theme park in South China and a landmark scenic spot in Guangzhou, it will be transformed into an RPG (role-playing game) sci-fi-themed park, promising to be a hub for sci-fi enthusiasts and futuristic imagination.

The design team, driven by imagination and creativity, has skillfully blended fantasy and futuristic elements to create a series of immersive experiences for visitors. Once completed, the project aims not only to revitalize the commercial atmosphere of the long-dormant Nanhu area but also to establish an innovative digital park integrating cultural tourism with digital creativity. It is poised to become a key component of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area's world-class tourist destinations.

In July, the new parent-child play "The Adventure of Kaka Tiger" jointly launched by Chimelong Group and the International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo, had a trial performance at Chimelong Theatre in Hengqin, Zhuhai. After a year of renovation and upgrade, Chimelong Spaceship, the world's largest indoor amusement park, will soon be officially open for business.

With the summer season in full swing, the theme park craze is heating up, becoming a significant driving force behind the growth of the tourism market.

In Guangdong alone, there is a dense concentration of various theme park resorts such as Chimelong, Overseas Chinese Town, Sunac, Grandview Mall, and Songcheng Group. These parks cover a wide range of themes including amusement parks with thrilling rides, animal worlds, aquariums, water parks, indoor skiing facilities, and more.

In the summer of 2024, water parks have emerged as the hottest theme for water-related activities. According to Tongcheng Travel, searches related to the water park saw a 72% increase in popularity in the first eight days of July compared to the previous period. Among them, Chimelong Water Park in Guangzhou and Playa Maya Water Park in Shenzhen are among the most popular water parks in China.

Theme parks across Guangdong are striving to attract global tourists by offering more diverse options, optimizing visitor experiences, and introducing favorable pricing policies. This approach, which emphasizes both affordability and quality of service, has garnered recognition from tourists worldwide to some extent.

Industry insiders believe that theme parks like Chimelong Tourist Resort in Guangzhou and Zhuhai are already equipped with an international foundation, thanks to their high-quality services and extensive entertainment facilities. By enhancing international marketing efforts and collaborations, Chimelong has the potential to attract more overseas visitors and further increase its global market share. Similarly, the Overseas Chinese Town Tourist Resort in Shenzhen and projects like Canton Tower also possess international appeal and potential.

迪士尼漲價,廣東主題樂園上新:暑期旅遊市場“卷價格,更卷服務”

隨着暑期到來,國內主題樂園熱持續升溫,各大主題樂園的門票銷售呈現出明顯的增長趨勢,親子家庭對於主題公園的需求依舊旺盛。

擁有超級IP的上海迪士尼順勢推出暑期票價調整方案,整個7月的高峰日門票價格已達到719元,成爲網絡熱搜。

據統計,自2016年開園以來,上海迪士尼的門票已經經過5次調價,對比最初實行的票價,最高票價淨增了300元。

廣東省內各大主題樂園,面對上海迪士尼樂園等競爭對手的票價上漲,在暑期推出項目升級或夏季新玩法,採取不同策略來維持競爭力和吸引遊客,同樣收穫好評。

升級改造正如火如荼推進中的廣州南湖樂園明年元旦也要全新迴歸了。作爲華南地區的第一個主題公園,也是廣州市的標誌性景區之一,將成爲一個聚科幻情懷與未來暢想的RPG(角色扮演遊戲)科幻主題樂園——星紀世界·南湖樂園。

據瞭解,設計團隊以想象力與創造力,將夢幻與未來元素巧妙融合,爲遊客創造一系列的沉浸式體驗空間。項目建成後,不僅可以有效激活沉寂多年的南湖片區的整體商業氛圍,還可以打造出一個融入“文旅+數字創意”產業的創新型數字樂園,成爲粵港澳大灣區世界級旅遊目的地的重要組成部分。

7月,由長隆集團聯袂蒙特卡洛新生代馬戲節推出的全新親子劇《卡卡虎奇遇記》在珠海橫琴長隆卡卡劇場試演。經過一年的升級改造全球最大室內樂園長隆飛船樂園,不久後將正式開業。

隨着暑期市場的全面展開,主題樂園熱持續升溫,成爲推動旅遊消費市場增長的重要力量。

僅在廣東省內,遍佈長隆、華僑城、融創、正佳、宋城演藝等各式主題樂園景區,密度很高,囊括了機動遊戲樂園、動物世界、海洋館、水上樂園、室內滑雪場等不同主題。

而水上樂園是2024年夏季最熱門的玩水主題,同程旅行數據顯示,7月前8天的水上樂園相關旅遊搜索熱度環比上漲72%,廣東省內的廣州長隆水上樂園和深圳瑪雅海灘水上公園均是上榜國內最熱門的水上樂園。

廣東各個主題樂園在努力通過提供更多的選擇空間、優化遊客體驗和推出優惠政策等服務,“既卷價格,也卷服務”,一定程度得到世界各地遊客認可。

業內人士認爲,像廣州、珠海長隆旅遊度假區這一類的主題樂園,憑藉優質的服務和豐富的娛樂設施,已經具備國際化基礎,通過加強國際營銷和合作,長隆完全有可能吸引更多海外遊客、進一步提升其國際市場份額。同樣具備國際潛力的還有深圳華僑城旅遊度假區、廣州塔等項目。
