Dongshi Imitates Xishi

從前，有一個美麗的姑娘叫西施，她的笑容特別迷人，每次笑起來都會讓人覺得非常舒服。西施有個鄰居，叫東施。東施長得並沒有西施那麼漂亮，而且有點笨拙。

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful girl named Xishi. Her smile was especially charming, and every time she smiled, it made people feel very comfortable. Xishi had a neighbor named Dongshi. Dongshi was not as beautiful as Xishi and was a bit clumsy.

有一天，西施因爲身體不舒服，皺起了眉頭。雖然西施皺眉看起來有點痛苦，但大家還是覺得她特別漂亮，紛紛讚歎她的美麗。

One day, Xishi felt unwell and furrowed her brows. Although Xishi's frown looked somewhat painful, people still found her very beautiful and praised her beauty.

東施看到大家都誇西施皺眉的樣子好看，就想着：“如果我也像西施那樣皺眉頭，是不是也會變得漂亮呢？”於是，東施開始模仿西施皺眉的樣子。

Dongshi saw everyone praising Xishi's frown and thought, "If I frown like Xishi, will I also become beautiful?" So, Dongshi began to imitate Xishi's frown.

可是，東施本來就沒有西施那麼漂亮，再加上她的皺眉樣子並不好看，所以反而讓人覺得她更加難看。村裡的人看到東施效仿西施皺眉的樣子，都忍不住笑了起來。

However, Dongshi was not as beautiful as Xishi to begin with, and her frown did not look good. Instead, it made her appear even less attractive. The villagers saw Dongshi imitating Xishi's frown and couldn't help but laugh.

這個故事告訴我們：每個人都有自己的優點和特點，不要盲目模仿別人，只有找到自己的優勢，才能真正展示出自己的美麗。

This story teaches us that everyone has their own strengths and unique qualities. We should not blindly imitate others but rather find our own strengths to truly showcase our beauty.
